Supporting our customers as they deliver essential services

MGF have vast experience in delivering shoring solutions to the water and utilities sectors, including supply to the Water Companies for their AMP programmes which accounts for around a third of our business.

For planned works, our early involvement with customers enables us to provide value engineered design solutions balancing safety and practicality. Such schemes can range from smaller trench support systems utilising steel trench sheets and manhole brace to larger cofferdams, often with complicated geometry, utilising trench sheets or sheet piles and heavy duty hydraulic bracing and hydraulic struts.

Reactive works are usually smaller scale excavations, often in restricted site conditions with very limited planning time available, therefore trench support tends to be provided by trench boxes, manhole boxes, drag boxes, vertishore and trench sheets with walers and struts or manhole braces.

It is in this arena where MGF’s logistical agility provides maximum impact to the customer through fast response times.

Furthermore our innovative approach to product design means that we have the capability to assist our customers in overcoming the challenges they face, for example our GRiPSHORE range has been developed predominantly to satisfy the needs of the reactive utilities market as GRP is safe to use for electrical works and it is light enough to be handled manually.
