MGF Employees Deliver Virtual Training Sessions For Students

For the past 5 years MGF have delivered a training module on excavation which focuses on temporary works, this has historically been delivered in person at The College of East Anglia, however this year Anglian Water has extended the initiative into three additional colleges from across the region exposing up to 60 students to the module. The excavation module forms part of the Construction – Level 2 (Extended Certificate) qualification and is taken by a wide variety of students looking to begin a career within the construction industry.

Mickey rallies to support the local community (NHS Volunteer Responders)

Our very own Fleet Manager, Michael (Mickey) Ashcroft recently signed up to the NHS Volunteer Responder scheme along with a phenomenal 600,000 other people from across the UK to support the NHS and their local communities.

Mickey, who lives in Leigh and is still working full-time supporting the business is now a Community Responder Volunteer. He signed up to the scheme as he wanted to support the most vulnerable people in his local community and protect the NHS throughout the coronavirus outbreak.
