Technical Department

The MGF Technical Services Department offer a design service to support the hire of MGF excavation support equipment. All customers are encouraged to utilise this service in order to obtain the most economical safe shoring solution for their particular needs.

All designs are carried out by Graduate Civil Engineers and are independently checked before being issued to the customer. Using personal site experience, all designs are carried out with a strong emphasis on the practicalities of the installation of the solutions produced. Customer preferences are also considered at initial design stage and specific requests are accomodated in the final design. All designs are accompanied by a drawing to clearly indicate the solution proposed and Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Installation instructions can be provided when required.

All equipment specified by the MGF Technical Services Department is designed and manufactured in-house, enabling unusual applications to be considered by using specialised adaptors and equipment.

The MGF Technical Services Department produce a Product Information CD giving up to the minute information on MGF designed and manufactured Ground support solutions. The CD contains:-

• Installation Guidelines.

• A video giving an insight into MGF.
