New London Depot MGF took possession of the new Tring Depot on the 13th June and commenced trading on the 27th June. Tring provides a foothold for MGF in the South East and London - the biggest single market for shoring in the UK. A number of major Civil Engineering projects are earmarked for London over the next seven years including the Olympics, London Gateway, Eurotunnel terminal, cross London tube extensions and hundreds of prestigious developments requiring large basement excavations. In addition Thames Water has the largest AMP4 capital investment program of all the utilities.
MGF can now provide a true nationwide service to our customers. John Woodward the new Tring Depot manager stated 'The prospects for MGF in the South East are tremendous. We have set ourselves ambitious targets for the Depot to be profitable by Christmas 2005 and to making a significant contribution to turnover by Summer 2006. There is a lot of work to do but with the commitment and support provided by the rest of MGF and the strong regional team now in place, we are sure to succeed.' |
