The Camstopper is a new design based on the old screw type stopper. Retaining the original benefits of the traditional design of discs and rubber seal, now the application of force is through a lever actuation. This allows the seal to be made quickly, easily and accurately. The seal is also consistent, as the lever pressure is applied to the pre-determined load. The heel is vital to the operation. Profiled to sit in the pipe invert, it ensures the stopper is sitting upright, prevents twisting under back pressure load and provides a reaction force against which the lever is actuated.
