Lifting & Support Equipment

MGF provide a selection of Lifting Chains and Restraining Chains with appropriate safety hooks and catches for use with all MGF Excavation Support Systems. All MGF chains are made from certified components and are subject to our in-house Quality Control systems ensuring compliance to LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Lifting Chains

A range of 4 leg, 2 leg and single leg lifting chains are available in various capacities and lengths and are inclusive of safety hooks and catches.

Swivel hooks are also available and compatible with lifting chains and are recommended for use when handling and positioning larger assembled MGF products such as boxes and complete frames or waler sets.

Restraining Chains

All MGF restraining chains are made from certified chain and feature grade 8 grab hooks and high strength bow shackles. Restraining chains are intended for use in providing additional support to frames in excavations and they should be used for lifting purposes.

Light Duty Struts & Props

MGF supply various light duty mechanical struts and props for applications suited to standard modular systems.
